The invasion of Ukraine certainly has been one of the most brutal and visible of late. Sadly, the horror of the Ukrainian conflict has helped crystalize the goals of Garden Ruin. Children, the innocent victims of the Russian assault, are in need of not only physical protection and assistance to survive, but also the mental and psychological healing to bring them back to happy and healthy lives.

The youngest and most innocent are suffering greatly under the burden of these conflicts, at home and abroad. From Ukraine to Florida, the ravages of war and the intolerance of leaders are causing some of the worst emotional trauma to children, with consequences that will be felt for decades.
